How Much I Love You
30 July, 2001

How did I know
that our love would grow
with each passing day?

I'll tell you why.
Your eyes would gleam
so innocently it seemed,
as you held my hand so tight.
I remember that night,
love had never felt so right.

But you ask, "How did I know?"

You and I are as one,
but without you I am none!
That's how much I love you.

How much I love you,
I couldn't love you more
for the door swings both ways.
I'm looking forward to my days
with you forever.

I feel your love

I too understand that love is like a swinging door, it works both ways. One can see how much a person means to them just by the look in their eyes. I have that one moment in time when he and I both held hands so tight that I thought we will be together forever. But life is such a mystery that even the strongest love cannot endure some of the world's doings. I don't want to be lost in that world but woe to those that think that love is to hard to even put up a fight for. I will not surrender until my love is completely vanquished and my lover has turn his head.=(.
