The Life I Lead

There is someone that I like
Now more than she'll know
I think she should be spared
From where my life will go
She is just too perfect
And deserves a lot better
For happiness she must leave
I guess I have to let her

I care so much for her
So I must see her spared
From the life that I lead
Because of how I cared
I know this will kill me
It's the right thing to do
I have to let her go
Because our love is true

Torture

Seizure, I just came across this now. And I must point out that I think this is an astounding statement. I too, have emotional barriers that have caused me to reject someone to prevent hurting them inevitably. It takes it's toll on both of the people involved. But you are decent to do it out of love, instead of later on out of disregard.
