The mistake was made no taking it back
i messed up a good thing like i seem to always do
i took you for granted and used you
now it seems life has a lesson for me to learn

i said things i never ment to say
i lied, you knew
i cheated, you saw
now i just wind up messing it all

The mistake was made no taking it back
i want u more then ever
now that your gone
your somoen elses good thing and your not coming back
i shouldnt have used you and took u for granted
cause now life took away all my chances
