Thoughts At 3am...

I am a poet and a philosopher,
and a lover of ballads and songs
that are true.
If words be your ammunition
and the pen be your sword,
then I will join you
in gentle combat
'til we are both satisfied

We are never satisfied because ...

We are never satisfied brcause it's always a work in progress (our writing) and if we didn't have mixed feelings about life, living and people - there probably wouldn't be poetry as such!
Lovely piece of writing though - do our cats have these poetic thoughts?

our cats...

i believe that our cats give us inspiration - i have written about cats herein... whether they have such thoughts, or if they merely tolerate us, i haven't considered, but it may be the basis for another poem... thank you for your thoughts... peace... hank

Ditto

"Well writ me hearty"
I couldn't say it any better. Truly the words of a "Lady Pirate"
And to you Shiloh : That's a fine tale you tell.
Cheers, Bipe
