Can't You See?
Author: Shorty

Canít you see Iím sinking?
Iím drowning deep inside.
Give me your hand and pull me back up.
Stop pushing me down deeper,
I canít breathe!
I donít need you,
Youíre just making things worse.
Iíll get out myself,
Without your help.
Iíve had enough,
Just leave me alone!

Iím screaming from the deepest depths of my heart.
Take out your earplugs and listen.
Canít you hear me cry?

I donít care anymore,
Youíre dead to me.
Just leave me alone,
And let me go free!
Iím fine by myself,
Just let me be.

Now thereís someone else,
They saved me from the depths and brought me up for air.
They listened and helped me when I needed it.
They gave me their wings,
Because I wanted to fly.
Now I am happier.
I have a brand new life.

Now you want me back,
Oh, I see how It isÖ
You donít care when Iím with you, yet,
Without me youíll die?

Well, forget it, then,
Iím done with you!
Now Iím free to just be me,
So why wont you be you?
