To Smile Again

It may never happen
the way I feel now..
I just can't imagine
where, when, or how

The hurts so deep
the pain...so strong
I'm not quite sure
where I belong

I keep bringing this
on myself
Maybe my heart should
be on a shelf

No more would it hurt
but I would grow cold...
Heatless 'til the day I die
a terrible way to grow old
