Unshed Tears
18 February, 2003

I stand before you
Tiny droplets of your spit,
burn my skin,
as you scream in my face

My mind is infested,
with your hateful words
I feel so empty inside

Unshed tears,
are lodged in my throat
I'm sorry,
Sorry for failing you
