Rain Drops
19 December, 2002
Author: Stacy

vinebar

once separate drops of rain
shaped by imperfection
now melded into the same
a perfect prism of reflection

hovering high
happiness here
life, time rushing by
inside the absence of fear

yet, though we are still
time continues its race
as we drink our fill
it holds true to is pace

and when it has elapsed
into the flow we'll relapse
and plummet again as the rest
but to even swifter deaths
