In Your Eyes

I see so much in the depths of your eyes
The reason for your lies, for your silent, shrieking cries.
But the beautiful swirl of color seen wherein is so deceiving
A hideous tangle of the truth, the mystery of why you're grieving.
I wish you could tell me what demons live inside of you,
That make you act, make you say, make you do everything you do.
And open up to me, let me know all of your fears,
Let all your emotions run free, let them fall through salted tears.
You know I'll always be here, your one constant through changing time,
So let me know your pain, please let me make it mine.
