Bitter-sweet
1 November, 2002

I am all at once confused, and yet I see life simply, clearly when I look into your eyes
The world stops turning, time suspended about us
Everything fast and slow at once
A mind reeling in disorientation but grounded by you, my focus.
Amidst a whirlwind, yet in the eye of the storm.
Simplicity -- complexity,
Tranquility -- tumult,
Bliss -- grief,
Intense heat -- bitter cold,
And this is the flawed perfection of love
My beautifully ruined world.
