Blue met black as their eyes touched
And found eternity
Each seeing in the other
A reflection of their own true light
Opposite ends af a spectrum
Coming together as one
Feeling the strain of the journey wash away
As the purity of discovery overtook them
The pure white light
Of spirits freed from the shadows of despair
Twins souls that had searched through the ages
Lifetimes spent wandering the planes of existence
Dying only to be reborn incomplete once again
Feeling the nearness of its partner
Yet never able to reach it
Till this day
When seeking eyes locked across the distance
And drew one into the other
Knowing in that instant
That each had finally arrived home
