Beauty - A Danger?

All the guys make me feel like fame
Contributing to all of my pain
Like a downpoor of rain
Into the heat of the flames

It's like this great feeling you know
Will never last to grow
It suddenly starts to flow
On a sadnes so low

The confidence it had starts to fade
Not letting free the changes it could have made
Like when you step in the shade
And then become cold as a blade

What would have happened in the sunshine?
Would it be tiring like working in a mine?
Maybe as boring as waitin in line
Or would it be pleasing and fine?

They all say they care
That their love they want to share
But it's that glare
That their eyes hole, in the center...right there

It's that look that makes me feel a gutter
Like I'm just another
A beautiful girl, a lover
Tat is what satisfies their great hunger

Sometimes it's dangerous to overwhelm the rest
Sometimes it's dangerous to be the best
