Jordan's Daddy by Tammy

You went to heaven when our son was two.
We were just starting life anew.
Together forever we would be, until
that day my life crashed down on me.
I didn't know what to do, all I knew
was I lost you.
Now our son has turned eight.
He is always asking is Daddy standing
at Gods golden gate.
Holding back the tears I look him in
the eyes, and say Jordan your Daddy is
only resting for awhile.
He smiles, and tells me Mommy it's okay
we will be with my Daddy again one day.

We love and miss you

This poem was truely tear jerking, and was very hard to write, but writing keeps us from exploding inside I think...thanx for your comments

The Golden Gate, where Jordan's Daddy Waits
Tammy;

God blessed us all with time, some of us have even found love. Yet, more than anything, God has blessed us all with time, for some, the hour glass was not filled to the top and in this case, he knew your love and Jordan's love. Yes, little Jordan, Daddy is not here, but you know what, in time, you and your mommy, will both be with him, for the falling sand is not an end, it is a beginning.

Absolutely, True, Tammy, more then words you have shared with us. Mark, your time was short, but as we can see, your heart was full.
