Poignant Child

Michael slammed the door to his room in awe and fear. The window blew open and the shutters thudded against the frame.

"Momma." he yelled. Josette came running and dumbly stumbled on his toys. Gingerly Michael grabbed and pulled her near.

The wind sounded muffled and his voice asthmatic. Josette propped up the fallen lamp and its light began to twitch.

Michael pleaded with Josette "Please don't leave." he said.
I promise to be good . Josette dilneated, written on the wall.
He jutted his neck and shimmered and took the fall.

I don't want to be punished and nudged Josette.
Seeing this groggily Josette pondered. He must learn and never forget

.      She left the room and Michael laid calm. He thought to himself am I blind or am I just another poignant child.
