Whisper, why whisper,
If you want them to hear,

Shouting, stop shouting,
Til you’ve something to fear,

Crying, stop crying,
They’ll say you look queer,

Mourning, keep mourning,
The dream life you held dear,

Laughing, try laughing,
At those quick to sneer,

Working, stop working,
Heaven’s not a career,

Climbing, stop climbing,
Look for room at the rear,

Love, find love,
Its worth every tear.
