cupids day
has fallen upon us
a day of unforgotten love for all
both new and old lovers

cupids arrow
has targeted the spot
well known as the heart

new romances
filled with love and hope
others aim for a second chance

to some this day holds memories
and secrets of long ago
a day to fall in love
a day to hold someone close

a favorable day to say "I do"
a day to escape
and enjoy the LOVE presented unto you

love brings us closer
on a day like today
you can show your love all year long

but...today
everywhere you look
you see that love has made a major bust
cupid takes Valentines Day to heart
he dare not miss a day like this

you will be among his target
to get hit with his arrow of love
the love dust will scatter
in a form of fine sparkling art
only your heart
will be able to see and touch
that glittery sensual effect
and the magic it brings

fate depends on you
and your heart
will you accept
this love sign
or pass it on
to the next one in line?
this is how sweet memories
first start
when cupid
aims directly
at your unsuspecting heart
