Hold Me For The Last Time
20 January, 2004

hold me .
can you console me?
can you hear my heart?

hold me
can you feel my fear?
can you feel my pain?

hold me
when will this fear go away?
rush this pain away?

hold me
I am so lost
I do not know where to go
I have there is no where to run
no where to hide

hold me
let me feel you warm body next to mine
don't leave me here all alone
wrap your arms around me
chase the fear away
ease the pain till it's all gone

hold me
until the darkness goes away
if the light should be the same
chase all the painful memories away

hold me
somebody hold me
his body is so lifeless
so hard and so cold

only his heart remains warm
the only life that remains & seems to respond
are our tears as they meet and build a bond
as he holds me for the last time
