you are my first love
I tried to hide
I was quiet , I was shy
or at least that’s what I thought
I learned...
I have a dark side
I can be good
I can be bad
love me when I'm sad
I've lived a sheltered life
you came to my rescue
you showed me I was alive
we hunted we explored
every boundry in sight
we stayed up all hours of the night
wow.. was I ever deprived
you had a sensual way of teaching
you are so magical
your mind was an essential tool
you and I were enjoyng fireworks in the middle of winter
our creations of music and art were out of this world
we'd make a killing if we competed with picasso , mozart
or even with those lil green aliens from the outskirts of life
I give you the credit for bringing me to this point
and setting me free..
you discovered th forbidden side of me
I was shy but not to thee....

Terrie*, this is a lovely....

Terrie*, this is a lovely ode to your first and greatest love. I would think any husband would be elated to hear these words, or read them, coming from his wife~his friend and lover. I'm convinced you would give those little green beings a run for their space ship! Ha! Ha! Haaa! Thanks!***Ben

Revalations Of Her Passion, shared with us.

Terrie;

I think you were definitely smiten and bitten and I enjoyed all the fore, I mean word play. There the two of you are again, keeping the neighbors awake. I know that Picasso would have done well, painting upon the canvass of your soul, as would Mozart have done, writing down the music, that was playing from your heart. This is passionately, charming.

What did you expect?

Terrie - the reason we are all astounded by this poem is because as expressive as us poets are, to be exposed to someone's forbidden side is always astonishing. Thanks for letting us hear about yours as it may inspire more than you know.....

you are so right Pam...too revealing..

Yea...i guess the outcome would be pretty much bewildering...as expected....my poetry...is me....it is the person i am from one day to the next..365 days a year..and i must admit reminiscing the love i shared with the one and only love of my life written in my poetry has helped me breath in and re-live each happy moment vivedly that my husband and i......two people very much in love w/each other have ever shared...he is gone but my memories will forever be tatood in my heart...but..i guess...it has reached the point where the other poems i wrote for him will be put to rest...a chapter closed...and stay in my heart...i enjoyed everyones feedback on the ones i have shared...... thank you for commenting.
