Light Of My Life

the light that shines within
it's glorified by your touch
illuminated by your love
my soul is content
as it feeds off your love
you have fullfilled every inch of it's existence
my heart sings with praise
because of you,it's beat remains strong
you manage to take my breath away
if others could feel what we have for just one day
they would be able to feel
the warmth of the flow of my blood as my heart pumps away
they would feel my body levitate
a sensation that is so over powering
the only way I can describe it.
is the thunder and it's roar..
riding on a harley or close to it's kind
i feel the vibration thru & thru out my soul
a surge that re-connects me to my being
the power i gain for the love for God
for the mate he carefully selected and sent my way,
a gift from the highest source
a piceless feeling that canot be explained
because it is beautifully overwhelming
such an awesome feeling
no need to pinch me
I know it is real
just as it is to wake up each morning
breathing the air provided by God...
you call me the spice of your life
as I call you the light of mine
absolutely no short circuit between us
if anything at all
you give me my daily jump-start
good night sweetheart... goodnight...

------- Author's Notes -------

the next several poems that I will be posting are some-what classic.. I wrote them for my husband...some anniversaries, birthdays, or just because days. his job kept him working long hours or either working out of town at lengths at a time...this was my communication on many occasions as I lay in bed or get woke up suddenly inspired by something to write..I was reminiscing as I went thru many that I had written.... I did have to edit some in order to post them.. but they were all sincere.he was a truely a great loving man..how did I get so lucky.. I just wanted to share a bit of my heaven w/you all..I do not expect any comments,,I just wanted to share the love that we nurtured....

She expects, NO Comments For Her Heart Touching US

Okay, Terrie;

No comments, how would it be if, I just reply. This poem will forever, remind me when I'm in a thunder storm, its arrival announced by, lightning bolts. It is a form of communication, designed by him for you. There is no short-circuit here, yet, with all the fire and lightning, I'm glad I didn't live next door. For with all this love, that you two shared,I would not have survived, if I had lived next door, down the street, say, the state of Iowa!

What love you two shared and even now, I know the love, is still there.

Beautiful, sorry you had to edit it, but, I "t-h-i-n-k," I understand.
