Hollow Words
9 July, 2003

I hear hollow words...
Or I don't
Because they are
Practically useless,
Insincere, insignificant
Like raindrops on
An arid wasteland
Searching for life
Among the decayed,
Eventually drying up
As mist, as ephemeral
Just like your words
Your hollow words.
