When I First Saw You

When I first saw you
I didn't know what to do
All I could do was stare
I know we'd make a good pair

I liked you from the start
I tried to protect my heart
Could i e love at first sight
Could this be right

I had to try
Till we said good-bye
You became my best friend
And you was my kin

So we had to sneak
Till I became weak
I wanted to hold you
I couldn't find a clue

To help sort my feelings out
Honey,there wasn't any doubt
I didn't want to hide
I wanted to be by your side
