I like two guys, I really can't decide.
They both bring great feelings, deep inside.
They are both very special, in their own different ways.
I've shared moments with both, and in an equal amount of days.

One is a hard man, yet has the sweetest touch.
He brings me pleasure that I crave so much.
The other is sophisticated and brags about his money.
He wines and dines me and calls me his honey.

The cold one is strong and fearful and bad.
But he is sweet and gentle, the best lover I've ever had.
Mr. GQ parties and clubs all the time.
But we have so much in common, we are right on the dime.

The cold one opened up to me feelings he put away.
I have too much heart to play him, but I try to every day.
The moneymaker is so mannerly, even my mother adores him.
He knows about the cold one and hopes it is just a whim.

The cold one is cute, in a non-conventional way.
But he is always in my mind, perhaps now to stay.
The classy one is beautiful and expects nothing less from me.
But how much will I lose, if the cold one is the fee.

The hard man looks about with an expressionless face.
But his gaze softens upon me, and I know this is just a taste.
The rich one opens doors and kisses my hand.
But will this all change, once he is my man?

The cold man talks to me on the phone all night.
His eyes speak of love, much to my hearts delight.
The rich man is jealous of the cold man, this I know.
Perhaps this is just his competition, a way to put on a show.

The cold man kisses me and erases all my fears.
Could he be the one I've waited for all these long years?
The rich man caresses my face and then my body I do not trust.
But is this love, or is this just lust?

I wish I knew which one was right for me.
I want to be treated good and respectfully.
But you never know who is bad and who is truly kind.
Sometimes love is made crystal clear and sometimes it makes you blind.

In the end, I chose the cold man, but far from cold he is.
We've made it last for many years, I will forever be his.
They say you cannot judge a book by looking at it's cover.
The one that is most handsome might not make you the best lover.
The one with the most money and charming disposition,
might influence you to make the wrong decision.
All I can advise, is to take a chance.
On a lusty adventure or a life-long romance.

And it looks as though my decision was right.
The war waged in my heart was worth the every fight.

Book by the cover

Awsome writing Tonya, This reminds me when I had to make (choose) between two wonderful ladies. And like you I chose the one who filled my needs.
THANK YOU SO MUCH

sorry cant agree

i believe the cold one was you..they where merely pawns of your game..as is the case in every situation like this..for if you truly loved either there would have been no game to play

tonya the war waged in my heart brings my hands to a steady tremble. A small quiver flows in and out with every word my lips muster. An army of emotions battling within.i can't sleep at night, the paired sounds of my breath ache out the name tonya. This has got to be a dream.....
