How I Wish

How I wish you'd understand
and not yell all the time
it's already hard on me
i've had my time to cry

i dont need you to tell me
what i know i need to do
it's not as easy as it seems
you try telling people
someone did that to you

As much as i love you
you have to understand
i know it hurts you
it hurts me too

it happened to me
not to you
yet why can i forget
and not you

Please understand
that is over
it wont happen again
please forget it so i can

i really really need to
so how i s wish you would move on
how i wish you would stay
dont let what he did to me stand in our way

Hey Torrey!

I would like to thank you for your wonderful comment on my poem "Pretender"! Yep, it's always nice to know if the person we hold close to our heart understands our needs, and takes them into consideration!!

Lovely, there Torrey!

"How I Wish"-------let's give a round of applause for Torrey! YEAH! I love these heartfelt words in your poem!! This is what I call poetry in motion because it moved me by reading it!!

Keep on smiling, and have fun!
