I set here eager for his touch,
for his kiss for the look of love in his eyes.

This man I crave all this from is not the man
I said I do to, so have I betrayed the one I am married to.

The man that has half of my heart
He is forbidden.

He is married to a woman other then me,
and I am married to a man other then him.

Our love is so strong, it tears at us,
because we are not together.

A love so strong, so right yet so wrong
a love that is forbidden.

Late night talks, I love you's that mean
so much.
Yet we are forbidden to be together, for God has set
us apart.

Why did we meet, why did we find this love that is so forbidden it burns my soul and heart.
Will we ever be together or will us touching always be forbidden.

Forbidden ohh this love we have is forbidden,
we shouldn't feel like this, we shouldnt talk like this,
you shouldnt be on my mind like this, for you are forbidden.
The forbidden fruit, so sweet, so lovely.
