As he dialed the number home.
The sun caught his wedding band. As he took a deep breath, he thought to himself. Thirteen wonderful years. Why me, why all these innocent people. How will I tell her? I wont be coming home for my baby is only 4 how will she understand?

The phone rang twice, then he heard that precious voice, Hello Daddy; (Caller ID a wonderful thing) His voice caught in his throat, as he tried to sound happy, while speaking his last few words. . .
Hey baby I wanted to call and tell you, I love you so much.
She replied I love you too daddy.
Can I talk to your momma?
Honey, I love you and honey . . .
I wont be coming home tonight. He knew his time was short so he started to explain as best as he could.

Honey, I'm on the 63rd floor, not much time is left. Planes are crashing into my life. I want you to know i Love you. Please tell Daddy's little girl that he loves her. I wish I could tell you why this is happening but I cant. Sweetheart, I love you. . .

As the phone goes dead, tears begin to slide down the womans cheek. Hanging the phone up slowly she reaches for her daughter. As she kneels down, kisses the girl and begins to explain what is happening; "Baby daddy loves you and he wont be coming home for he's gone to live with the angels in heaven. The little girl smiles and replies. Someday we will be with him again. The mother smiled yes honey we wil meet again and become a family.
