Years Forgotten

30 years have came and gone; since their hearts first meet and touched. Those are years forgotten.

The war then changed him so much, he isnt the man I feel in love with. The man that danced in the rain like little children; laughing and carring on so. Those are years forgotten.

Kids are grown, and have kids of there own. The wonderful days of football games, late night talks with the kids, camping trips and family vacations. Those are years forgotten

The nights we use to share in one anothers arms. Have become non existent, we are now just to body's in one bed. The hands that once held me tight and close, are now no more. You have turned into someone I do not know. Yet have come to love. For the years of "our life" are now those of the past. Yet never have i stopped being by his side. For I am the glue that holds us together.

For all those wifes/husbands who have and will go through the changes of their love goin to war. and remember the years are only forgotten if you let them die.
