Innocence Stolen
2 December, 2003

You see her eyes puffy and swollen
Tears she has shed
From an innocence stolen
Painful memories that make her sad
Always criticizing herself
Cause she thought she was bad
Self hate rips at her soul
Tearing her apart
She shakes in the cold
Endless stories she holds inside
You can see all her pain
When you look into her eyes
A beautiful child
Lost in the world
Looking for an escape
From her endless struggles
