Bittersweet

From the corner of my eye,
A passerby,
A little girl entombed,
In a big car,
She was looking at a girl on the street,
With no shoes on her feet,
She held up her pet to see,
The girl with no shoes on her feet,
A tear in my eye,
Doth two societies did meet,
One unto the other,
Bittersweet.
