Why I Fight

The ground is soothing under my body.
The ground is a place of rest from the world.
I wish I could get up.
I wish I could swing just one more punch.
No matter.
I don't need to get up.
I don't need to fight right now.
I've found peace.
I've found my tranquil self.
They say:
"you'll never know who you are
until you've been in a fight."
I say:
I don't want to die without any scars.
I've found Me.
I know who "I Am" is.
As I drag my self to my knees,
I realize something.
Nobody will know who I Am.
I walk home with the breeze messaging my aching back.
I'm lost deep in thought about
The heavens, and
The earth, and
The meaning of life
When I realize something.
Nobody can tell that I've hit rock bottom.
Nobody can tell that I've been awakened
Because we can't talk about it.
More realization:
I'm genuinely happy.
