A Hopeful Wish

I gave up my chance to tell her.
I gave up my Love for a price.
I wish I could have one more chance
To tell her I want her in my life.

I wish that I could hold you
In my arms on a snow covered hill.
I wish you could feel the warmth of my heart
And I wish you could feel how I feel.

I wish, on my guitar, I could play for you
All the songs that would never come out.
I wish all the notes that come from the strings
Would show my Love with a shout.

I wish that I could be there
Whenever your special someone doesn't care.
I wish I could catch all your tears on my cheek
While running my hands through your hair.

I wish I could fall asleep
With you right here in my arms.
I wish you could protect me while I slept
So that no one could cause me harm.

I wish I could get up the courage
To get me to ask you how you feel.
I wish that you will understand
That I don't want to cause any hell.

I wish when you read these words
That you'll answer me in someway.
I wish that you will be only mine
Forever and a day.
