Imperfection
11 August, 2003

I don't know why I even try
I always do things wrong
My hair, my make-up, my math assignments too
Being good at something is for what I'll always long
A picture I tried to draw
of this perfect girl
but in the end all I saw
were all of my imperfections laid out so perfectly for me to try and see
So now I wish that I could see
the one thing that I'm good at
is simply being me
