Day By Day

I used to think I was perfect.
The mirror did NOT reflect me.
Just some effigy,
An avatar,
Oh well.

Day by day goes by.
My mirror looks familiar.
My face looks more foreign.
I'm still mostly perfect.
Oh well.

Day by day goes by.
I'm a little less perfect.
I'm a little less me.
I'm a little more mirror.
Just an effigy,
An avatar,
Oh well.
