Little Bundle, Big, Big Blessing
11 January, 2004

vinebar

Growing minute
by minute
making your mother's
belly move
With your tiny
feet kickin'
already dancin'
in the womb

We're all waiting
to see you
and look into
your bright eyes
We're all wanting
to hold you
to pick you up
and say Hi

Little bundle
big, big blessing
Mommy and Daddy's
pride and joy
Little bundle
big, big blessing
Beautiful, bouncing
baby boy

Your family
will all come
As news of your birth
quickly spreads
They will bring you
lots of stuff
from booties to blankets
for your bed

Little bundle
big, big blessing
Mommy and Daddy's
pride and joy
Little bundle
big, big blessing
Beautiful, bouncing
baby boy

------- Author's Notes -------

This one is dedicated to my daughter, Angel, and Scott, the soon-to-be parents of my new Grandson. Angel had a sonigram done, so we already know he's going to be a beautiful, bouncing baby boy! With Love, Dad

Thank you soooo much for your comment, Terrie*, I am very happy you like this one about the big, big blessing! And, yes, I am a bit excited but with a tinge of fear thrown in, because I know how much damage one of these little bundles can do as soon as they are able to walk! Ha! Ha! Haaaa! Scary! Thank you again, I do really appreciate your encouraging words!
Best Regards, Ben

Ben

yea the damage they do is...they go from walking...to growing up...and onto getting married...(snif-sniff) ( keeping the shot-gun within reach serves no purpose , now that is scary..heh)...they're bound and determined to make us grandparents...payback to what we did to our parents huh?..I look forward to when my two make me a grandma....just not yet please i'm only 21...heh..shhhhh!!!
thanx again Ben..missed you and your poetry...Terrie*
