In Memory Of A Yellow Rose
17 March, 1998
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
A heart once touched by a yellow rose..
Had a soul mate lost, now found
The one Love of a life time
In gentle hand was held
with tenderness and beauty it bloomed
A heart melted in the summer heat
Passion felt words were shared
Walks in the moon-lite
through desert sands.. a touch
The dreams once held never lost
Innocence of a youthful Love
Once cherished delicately in care
A heart touched forever
Will never forget
The wondrous bloom of this Rose
Together forever as with the bloom
faded now stiffened petals still held
To touch of this dream
brings tears to the eyes
Yet its memory the love remains clear
The bloom now is lost
Yet in thought still exists
Petals caressed by a single kiss
But never forgotten it will always remain
Only a heart touched dream's moment away...
