Friendship almost missed
because of a mood
But the heart reached back
So glad a meeting was had
When you reached out
A part of me hesitated
Afraid to feel again
That you too one day be gone
But for an instant I forgot
Love not felt is wasted
Hearts brought together are for a reason
A need is met
And if only in brief recognition
Growth is had
And in Love... memories always remain

Sometimes even when it seems hard to hold out a hand in friendship, we need to do it even more for if your heart is closed it surely can't feel the love it has missed |
