Silence Of Our Hearts

It's the words that are not said that drive me
Slave to the feelings in my heart
I sit in the silence
When neither of us can find the words
For if they are spoken
It will again become real

I wait every day for you
Biding the time
till once again the precious moments are ours
Our stolen time... A time for us

If we do not speak the words
Is it really less real
Do our hearts feel less
Do we put on the facades of no emotions
To keep our hearts from breaking

Why Do we hide from our hearts
How do we go on pretending
How do we continue to put aside what is real

My love, I could not bare life without you
For we are two hearts of one soul
How could one live with out his soul
In truth we could not

And though our words are no longer spoken
In our silence we linger together
No matter the miles,
No matter the circumstance of life
We are together...in heart forever joined

And still even in our silence we love
Though we dare not speak the words
That there be ghosts that will haunt us
in our sleep ...and in our wake
Till our very life's being, be drawn in

Until our last breath is breathed I will love you.
Till forever meets eternity I will hold your heart
Our love, my most sacred treasure
For you I live. For you I am
Forever I will always be
With you ...in the silence of our hearts
