Passions
28 June, 2000
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)

vinebar

I have never known where to end and begin an edge
Between the feelings of the heart and its demise
Will the search go on forever,
Will I know what's missing, when its found
Will I ever completely know where my heart gains its strength
Will passion ever again be my friend

What words must be spoken by my heart
For you to see what overwhelms my soul
When you know.... will it really matter
Knowing I willingly martyred my Love in vain
Will this knowledge ease my pain

And from outside in the rain
I see everything that's mattered wash away
And through different existence
I know outside and alone
There was no passion for my heart

There was no passion before you
The wings of my heart never truly beat... till I met you
