Clutter

Upon My desk rests parts of life
without.. my life could not complete
a task at hand, a start of grand plan
or is it clutter of laziness' defeat

There lays a lighter, and key fob
that states I am someone's best friend.
A highlighter marker and a barette
to keep my hair from tangled ends.

A pen, and paper, and pad of post-its,
and a picture of us put there to remind.
A stapler, some thread, and some words of note
to use at some future time

There is a a pretty blue stained-glass box
that's now holding clutter of its own.
But if i was to go into it's depths
I'd have to write yet another poem
