As She Grows
25 December, 2001
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)

vinebar

I watch my child as she grows
Not always happy with what I see
But I know it is her own growing
Not a reflection of me

Her way of thinking so different
Leaving a troubled look on my face
I try my best not to interfere
My opinions... it's not my place

So I pray as I watch her learning,
Living with the ego she must feed
That tomorrow she will find the right answers
And her choices will lead to less greed
