Grandma's got on
A shiny new dress
Grandpa's decked out
In his Saturday best
Excitement is mounting
In the air
Grandma and Grandpa
Are goin' somewhere!
Grandma's goin' dancin'
Grandpa's goin' dancin', too
They're gonna swing and jitterbug
Till they cut the rug clean clear through
You whippersnappers watch and learn,
Respect your elders and give 'em some room
Grandma's goin' dancin'
Grandpa's goin' dancin', too
Grandma's grinnin'
Like the Cheshire Cat
Grandpa's eyes are twinklin'
Under his hat
They both look happy
Enough to bust
Grandma and Grandpa
Are gonna raise some dust
Grandma's goin' dancin'
Grandpa's goin' dancin', too
They're gonna swing and jitterbug
Till they cut the rug clean clear through
You whippersnappers watch and learn,

Hey, look at them spinnin'
Don't they make one beautiful pair?
Whoa, look out Grandma, Grandpa just saw
Your long-john underwear!
