Night Out
18 December, 2001
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)

vinebar

I run around with my friends at night
knowing my sleep I'll have to fight
I know I easily could stay at home
but since they'd be out, no one would phone

So I comb my hair and dress just right
checking to make sure my clothes aren't too tight
A glance in the mirror, I let loose a groan
I'll have to change, 'cause a seam's come unsewn

So I change once again, oh what a plight
As I leave from my room, I turn off the light
I go with my friends and greet the unknown
because if I sat at home, I'd be all alone
