Tiny Sparrow

Looking out my window
At a tiny sparrow
He’s singing his bird song
In the driving rain
I must admit I’m jealous
Of that tiny sparrow
He can spread his feathered wings
And fly away

I’ve had it with this city
Life here is just crazy
Everybody’s rushing
No one is getting somewhere
My needs are very simple
Just want someone to love me
Someone I can give love to
Who has love to share

La, la, la, la, la....la, la, la, la
whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
la, la, la, la, la....la, la, la, la
Hey, ey, ey, ey, ey
Some day my dreams
Are gonna take me out of here
I’ll rise up, like that sparrow, on the wind
And I’ll fly far, far away from this ocean of tears
And I won’t look back ever again

I’m tired of building houses
That other people live in
Hey, it’s about time
I get a place of my own
Somewhere nice and quiet
Removed from the madness
Where there is lots of room
And I can sing my song

La, la, la, la, la....la, la, la, la
whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
la, la, la, la, la....la, la, la, la
Hey, ey, ey, ey, ey
Some day my dreams
Are gonna take me out of here
I’ll rise up, like that sparrow, on the wind
And I’ll fly far, far away from this ocean of tears
And I won’t look back ever again

The Sparrow's Tiny wings Of Freedom...,

Ben,

We all know what you mean. I think there is a scripture and I'm sure you know it. How, God shelters all of us, even the little sparrow, who has nothing but, those tiny wings and once the sparrow's time has come, an angle, wears those wings.

Ben, I know one day that, well, you and all, who read this poem, can fill in the blanks.

The poem, oh, you know, not bad for a guy, who is married to a mountain women and lives in the Raccooonnnnn ridden hills!

Good, inspirational work my friend Ben
