That Kind Of Day
6 June, 2001
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)

It's been the kind of day
When friendship saves the day
Putting perspective where it should be

It's what it's all about
Lending a hand in strength
Helping me focus on what life offers

When tears began to fall
You didn't leave me alone
You stayed with me until the tears stopped

My minds focus was changed
But my loss was still pain
You were there when I needed a hug

My friend your're so golden
You have done my heart well
Now the pain is no longer so bad
