Wide Awake In A Beautiful Dream

A thousand sparrows are singing
A golden sun is on the rise
Look what the morning is bringing
Lover's light dancing in your eyes
I feel the warmth of your body
Like a soft flame brushing my skin
Oh, yes, I can smell the coffee
This is the way a day should begin

I'm wide awake in a beautiful dream
I've got my cake with strawberries and cream
I feel like I'm floating on an emerald lake
In a silver boat... with golden seams
I'm wide awake in a beautiful dream

A thousand sparrows are flying
In a ring above the trees
The purple flowers are sighing
Petals all turning in the breeze
I look back over my shoulder
I see your face, smiling at me
Oh, I have got to pull you closer
Baby, it's all the better to see

I'm wide awake in a beautiful dream
I've got my cake with strawberries and cream
I feel like I'm floating on an emerald lake
In a silver boat... with golden seams
I'm wide awake in a beautiful dream

Wow

Reading this poem is like I'm "wide awake in a beautiful dream"! What centered words and inspirational thoughts you throw our way Ben. It's giving me hope that I will feel like this one day about life, and about that someone next to me :O)
