Having a helper that doesn't meet your needs.
Is frustrating and upsetting.

Healthy people get angry.
Unhealthy people feel overwhelmed and lost.

Then when you find your complaints helped.
Finding out that your frustration is warrent.
Makes you feel normal and not a tyrant.

Having someone understand your needs is very comforting.
Let people know what frustrates you.

There is some one that truly cares..
You just have to find them.

Absolutey true

Hey Barb! Once again you have a dynamite poem posted! I truly understand where you're coming from on this poem you've submitted which is entitled, "Caretakers"! Yep. If we only open our hearts and unlock the chain, then others will know our problems and will be able to help.... Conversation will take a person far, because it will expel the load of your burden, if you talk about how you feel.......... As always, I enjoy your poetry!!

Creative message Barb!!

True

Yes - it is good to talk and we must communicate to others for them to help us. Opening up helps relieve our tensions and stresses.

Good writing,Barb

Barb,

i agree w/Meridian and Cap..sometime the source to finding what you search is right under your own heart if not beside it and opening up is a very valuable and sensitive source to go on...my self i write alot..but i also do more listening then i do talking..i am required to ask many questions...i've learn to detect when something is wrong. listening is a vital sign of the heart..into understanding a person especially in our society w/language barriers..listening has helped me understand and communicate w/o words..i have learned to put myself in their present situation. to personify the situation that greets me , i offer a hug which goes a long way...(i'm a hugger)it cuts thru the chase and helps the person open up..as always i enjoyed your inspirational words..keep sharing..have a beautifully Blessed Day! Terrie*
