the world changes
the world fades
as we all
cant stay awake
we sit here resting
resting a while
with our eyes
closed for a while
as we lay
for the longest while
we cannot help but to dream our vile
nightmares and fears we do not speak
as they haunt us in our sleep
we ignore them
and we ignore
just like we do our lives
until in the end
we see nothing but fright
everyday they ever strenghen
but in the end we do not awaken
