vinebar

I look around me
at all my familiar things
It doesn't feel that different
yet it is

Like living in a looking glass
distorted and changed
I lift the shade.. It's not home
yet it is

Walking amongst strangers
but there are none
Friendly faces smile and wave
am I home

I peer out the window
at this strange new place
surrounded by all my familiar things
am I home

I doesn't look like home.... Yet it is

Living on the road can feel really out-of-sync at times
