Is It Singing, Or Does She Cry?

Prerecorded images
Filmed in the eyes of a terrible liar
A tiny ballerina
A mouse of a girl
Just twirling
Dancing and dancing
Her mouth open wide
Is it singing, or does she cry?
She falls down with silent sound
Out of your eyes
Her sparkle dies

These images you see nightly
Such a unique beauty
Dancing into your life
You took her for granted
Intentionally meant to crush
Her tiny heart sliced with a knife
Pretending to be what she dreamt of
Playing as though you loved
Killing someone who would have gave you everything
Someone as pure
And as special as a dove

This tiny dancer will haunt you
She'll suck the color from your eyes
Until you go blind
She'll hum silent songs
Dance to her own tune
Mouth open wide
Is it singing, or does she cry?
You'll know the truth
The only words you'll hear her sing
Are the ones you know to be all too real

"I'll crush your heart as you did mine
I'll kill the boy who wasted my time
Sucking the sparkle from his eyes
Taking away all he had
For filling me with lies
For building me up and throwing me away
To die
I'll crush your heart as you did mine"
