I Want To Stay In
24 August, 2003

Baby, let's burn some tortillas,
Maybe a little rice and red beans
Later on I'll pop up some corn
And season it with salt and cheese
Then we can just lounge around
Like a couple of nesting doves
Till the morning sun runs us aground
Drowning ourselves in a lake of love

Nothing we might go out to see
Can beat what we've got here at home
You're all the entertainment I need
I want you to myself all alone
We can have a private fiesta
Attended by just you and me
Come, come, my lovely senorita
Your Don Juan is eager to please

I see that your eyes are gleaming,
I like the looks you're giving me
Am I in paradise, am I dreaming?
Either way, what a nice place to be
What do you say, my little pepper?
I will fulfill your desire
Let's spend this evening together
Slow dancing in a lover's fire

I want to stay in, stay in with you
A sweet night of amorillo
Is just what my heart could use
Let the world outside take a good long ride
No one out there is doing anything new
And anyway, I want to stay in with you
Yeah, anyway, I want to stay in with you
