Taste Like More

Your short lived moment of freedom
Did it make you crave more than you were given?
Did it taste better than you ever imagined?
Like love, like misery
Did you stand up to
Damn the unforgivable
For taking me away from you?
Did it taste like more
Like it did for me?

Is it something you'll constantly relive
In your dreams?
Is it much more
Than reality ever seems?
Inside caused you more
Than you ever feel
To be with me?
Did it taste like more
Like it did for me?
